Vintage Souk Sunburst Rucksack - Dark Brown Hand-Stitched Leather

This one feels a bit special. The dark brown leather has that naturally textured look you only get with small-batch pieces, a mix of smoother areas and softer grain where the leather has its own character.

There are little shifts in the dye too, the kind you see when something has been coloured by hand rather than in a factory. It’s part of why I picked it up.

The sunburst stitching drew me in straight away. It adds quiet detail without making the bag fussy. The shape is practical and easy to wear, and the hand-stitching brings out its unique, handcrafted finish. It has a relaxed, lived-in feel from the start.  Not perfect, just honest and nicely made.

If you like leather with personality and a bit of warmth, this one has plenty.

Condition Notes

This piece shows the natural texture and colour variation you’d expect from small-batch leatherwork.

There is a small area of loose stitching at the top, reflected in the price but not affecting use or structure.

Minor vegetable dye residue may be present in places, which is typical of traditional tanning. The lining has a little pilling and fluffiness — purely cosmetic. All straps, buckles, and closures remain fully functional.
